On Educational Toys For Children

I have a niece. She’s not quite four months.

She got a St. Patrick’s Day card from her uncle. (It’s so weird to refer to myself as an “uncle.” I know it’s the right word, but damn, I do not feel avuncular.) The card was… delightfully bonkers, if I do say so myself.

What to top that? I’m thinking that she needs these.

Young Mad Scientist Alphabet Blocks.

Yes, she can learn the alphabet. And she can learn how to take over the world!

“Each block measures 1 3/8 inches square and depicts six mad science concepts and the appropriate letters.”

Where were toys like that when I was growing up?

“U is for Underground Lair” indeed!

I shall have to ponder this.
