On Old Photos

No particular reason for posting these today.

Guinevere took ill and died suddenly several years ago. She was a polydactyl–she had three thumbs. I discovered today that I had these two photos on my hard drive for reasons unknown, and because it’s my webpage I thought I’d share. 😉

In this first picture you can almost make out the thumbs.

This one is one of my favorites. I like the composition of light and shadow.

You can’t tell from these pictures, but she had very strange fur. Her front half had longer fur than her back half, and petting her was oftentimes a strange experience as the hand crossed from long fur to short. She also had an odd smell, perhaps due to living in the barn behind the house.

No reason. Just memories.
