The “Season of Hope” came to an end last night. It wasn’t particularly close. Another October dream of the Cubs dashed.<\/p>\n

But there’s always next year! Spring is coming!<\/p>\n

I read that once, many years ago, and it’s so<\/i> right. There’s always next year. Let’s play two.<\/p>\n

Cubs fans shouldn’t be heartbroken. FOX television execs, sure — they’re looking at the nightmare potential World Series match-up of Cleveland and Denver.<\/p>\n

The Cubs went from worst to first in their division in a single year. There’s always next year.<\/p>\n
