At work today an e-mail made the rounds — Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson wants to play Black Adam in an upcoming movie based on DC’s Captain Marvel.<\/p>\n
Johnson as Black Adam works for me. Several months ago when he was rumored for the World’s Mightiest Mortal, I just couldn’t see it. He doesn’t look like Fred MacMurray, after all. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n
Then I started wondering. Might Shazam!<\/i> also have other members of the Marvel Family? Like Mary Marvel? Who would I cast as Mary Marvel?<\/p>\n
My top pick for Mary Marvel? Anna Popplewell.<\/p>\n
My second choice? Summer Glau.<\/p>\n
I know, two completely<\/i> different choices for Mary Marvel. I don’t know who you’d get to play Mary Bromfeld as the little girl.<\/p>\n
