Color me surprised&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow morning, six o&#8217;clock, I fly out to Orlando for four days of corporate meetings.  In all my travels I&#8217;ve not been to Florida, so I&#8217;m looking forward to the trip.  Now I just need to pack.  Which shirts?  Which ties?  I&#8217;ve looked at the meeting schedule&#8211;will I need shorts or something casual?  Oh, decisions!  I should get my watch battery replaced.  It might be a good idea to have a watch.<\/p>\n<p>Reading material for the flight I&#8217;ve settled on.  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.decandido.net\/\">Keith DeCandido<\/a>&#8216;s <i>Dragon Precinct<\/i>, which has been sitting on my desk unloved for about a month.  I might also take a manga for variety.  One of my employees suggested <i>Negima!<\/i> to me a few weeks ago when I mentioned that <i>Jonathan Strange &#038; Mr Norrell<\/i>, which I&#8217;ve been reading in fits and starts for about two weeks, was described by its publisher as &#8220;Harry Potter for adults,&#8221; and my employee claimed that <i>Negima!<\/i> really <i>was<\/i> &#8220;Harry Potter for adults.&#8221;  I read a little of <i>Negima!<\/i>, saw what she meant, and for a variety of reasons haven&#8217;t finished the first volume.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, joy.
