The second rejection letter came today.<\/p>\n
I’d applied six weeks ago for a position with Daedalus Books to manage their outlet store in Columbia, Maryland. Though I wasn’t anxious<\/i> to return to the retail world, it had two advantages — first, it would be more interesting (and intellectually stimulating) than what I’m doing now; and second, it was closer to home. So I thought I’d at least submit my resume and see what happened. After all, seven years of retail management under the belt would be applicable?<\/p>\n
The rejection letter came today. It wasn’t signed.<\/p>\n
I never even got a call for an interview.<\/p>\n
