Harold Saxon has declared his candidacy for President of the United States<\/a>.<\/p>\n

I’m not exactly certain how this works — or even makes any sort of sense. How can a dead and disgraced former British Prime Minister run for President? Was Saxon born in the United States somehow? I’m not honestly certain.<\/p>\n

The website’s a bit thin. No position papers.<\/p>\n

There is a campaign store, however<\/a>. If you need your Saxon ’08 gear — including thongs and boxer shorts — they have what you need.<\/p>\n

And if Saxon loses and the country goes to hell in a handbasket, this shop as all your “Don’t Blame Me, I Voted Saxon” needs<\/a>. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

In a hypothetical match-up between Saxon and Zod<\/a>, I don’t know who I would vote for. I have to admit, I think Zod is more progressive on the issues like health care, income disparities, and the like. Or at the very least, Zod has positions<\/i> on the issues; Saxon, as yet, does not.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, Saxon knows extraterrestrials. Though what happened to the Toclafane is all a bit of a blur.<\/p>\n

I don’t think of Saxon as a viable candidate, but if the Supreme Court weighs on his eligibility, perhaps he’ll have a legitimate shot.<\/p>\n
