I want it, want it, want it!<\/p>\n<p>I really, <i>really<\/i> want it!<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, lots of other people want it, too.<\/p>\n<p>And someone put the question to none other than executive producer Julie Gardner.<\/p>\n<p><a href='http:\/\/www.theregister.co.uk\/2009\/03\/26\/who_panel\/'>Why no LEGO <i>Doctor Who?<\/i><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The answer?<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<i>Doctor<\/i> Who needs to be bigger in the US to merit a LEGO roll-out.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>So, you hear that, American viewers?  If you&#8217;re not watching <i>Doctor Who<\/i>, you&#8217;re keeping <i>me<\/i> from getting LEGO <i>Doctor Who<\/i>!<\/p>\n<p>What I suggested fifteen months ago still applies &mdash; the LEGO Corporation (or TwoMorrows Publishing, with their <i>BrickJournal<\/i> magazine) could publish a booklet of &#8220;official&#8221; <i>Doctor Who<\/i> instructions, without having to commission a whole line of <i>Doctor Who<\/i> LEGO sets.<\/p>\n<p>Perhaps there would be official Doctor minifigs, that would be nice.<\/p>\n<p>And the great thing about LEGO is that there are all sorts of different environments pre-existing for the Doctor and his LEGO TARDIS to visit.  From Hogwarts to Indiana Jones, from pirates to castles and everything in-between, LEGO is screaming for <i>Doctor Who<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>LEGO <i>Doctor Who<\/i>! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I want LEGO Doctor Who.
