Elbow On Letterman - July 29th<\/font><\/strong><\/p>\n
Great news! Elbow will be live on the ‘Late Show With David Letterman’ on July 29th.<\/p>\n
The band will join Dave in the studio to close out the show with a performance of ‘Grounds For Divorce’ - be sure to tune in.<\/p>\n
The Late Show goes out at 11.30pm ET\/PT on CBS - visit lateshow.cbs.com<\/a><\/strong> for more information and local listings.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Elbow is currently touring in support of Coldplay, and then they go back into the studio to record their fifth album.<\/p>\n
“Grounds for Divorce” is a fun song. It’s catchy. It’s not my favorite off of The Seldom Seen Kid<\/i>. It might not even make my top five. But I like it. And the band really<\/i> gets into it at The Seldom Seen Kid Live at Abbey Road<\/i> concert.<\/p>\n
And then, “Grounds for Divorce” turns up in FOX’s promo for the sixth season of House<\/i><\/a>.<\/p>\n
Curiously, I could see Hugh Laurie starring in a Guy Garvey biopic.<\/p>\n
I don’t normally watch The Late Show<\/i>, but I’ll make an exception tonight. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
Oh. Wait. I can’t.<\/p>\n
Because of the stupid FCC<\/a>. \ud83d\ude21<\/p>\n
Watch it for me, peeps!<\/p>\n
ETA:<\/b> And it appears I didn’t miss anything. Due to other segments of Letterman’s show running long, Elbow’s appearance was cancelled. The band will be appearing some time in September.<\/p>\n
