For instance, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.allyngibson.com\/?p=878\">Santorum compared the war in Iraq to Aragorn&#8217;s assult on the Black Gate of Mordor<\/a>, which prompted me to point out what a <i>terrible<\/i> analogy that was.  Then, after he lost his bid for reelection in 2006, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.allyngibson.com\/?p=1592\">I had to gloat, so I sent him a letter<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Santorum never wrote me back, the wanker.  It was probably because I knew more about <i>Lord of the Rings<\/i> than he did, and he was embarrassed that I showed him up. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Maybe Tolkien fans should band together and create a PAC for his 2012 campaign.  SAURON-PAC, maybe?  Santorum&#8217;s America United, Republican One Nation PAC.  Okay, I don&#8217;t know what that means, but it sounds good.  Sounds nerdy. :h2g2:<\/p>\n<p>Rick Santorum!
