(Matt Frewer, whom <a href=\"http:\/\/www.allyngibson.com\/?p=2554\">I was really excited about<\/a>, has canceled; actors have to work, after all.)<\/p>\n<p>There are going to be lots of other fun and interesting people there, too.  <a href=\"http:\/\/farpointcon.com\/guests.php\">Check out the complete list here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Amongst those other people? What is the appeal of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle&#8217;s detective, and what does the future hold for this sleuth in film, television, and print?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I may add a panel. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>There are some interesting panels this year that I might go and see.  There&#8217;s a panel on beer on Friday night at 11 o&#8217;clock.  Saturday night at 8 o&#8217;clock there&#8217;s to be a reading of <i><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ansible.co.uk\/misc\/eyeargon-intro.html\">The Eye of Argon<\/a><\/i> that will also be recorded!<\/p>\n<p>And I&#8217;ll also be taking a spell at the autograph table, but I don&#8217;t know when as yet.<\/p>\n<p>Fortunately, I&#8217;ll have things to autograph!  In addition to copies of <i>Star Trek Magazine<\/i> with my article on the Borg, I&#8217;ve produced two chapbooks expressly for the convention.  The first, <i>The Dream I Weaved Today<\/i>, is a collection of some of my short fiction that ranges from the mainstream to the completely frelling mental.
