I bought the issues off of eBay about a decade ago, which left as the one <i>F&#038;tGM<\/i> hole in my collection the <i>Wonder Woman<\/i> crossover, written by none other than Samuel R. Delaney. (I eventually plugged that hole, too.)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"416\" height=\"640\" src=\"http:\/\/www.allyngibson.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/fafhrd-mouser-416x640.jpg\" alt=\"fafhrd-mouser\" class=\"alignright size-large wp-image-29336\" \/>A decade ago, Dark Horse had plans to do something with Fafhrd and the Mouser &#8212; a comic series (probably along the lines of their <i>Conan<\/i> series), a movie &#8212; but those plans never came to fruition.  They did at least reprint Chaykin and Mike Mignola&#8217;s Epic mini-series of the late 80s, Leiber&#8217;s seven books, and the Robin Wayne Bailey novel.<\/p>\n<p>Now, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bleedingcool.com\/2015\/10\/23\/dark-horse-to-reprint-fafhrd-and-the-gray-mauser-by-oneill-chaykin-and-simonson\/\">Dark Horse is collecting the DC Comics series<\/a>, and it&#8217;ll look nice on my shelf alongside the collection of the Chaykin\/Mignola series.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ll take this. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In the 1970s, DC Comics published a five-issue series, Sword of Sorcery, with adaptations of Fritz Leiber&#8217;s Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser series by Denny O&#8217;Neill, Howard Chaykin, and Walt Simonson.
