Writes Steve Benen at MSNBC<\/a>: “Look, there’s no reason for ‘socialism’ to serve as a synonym for ‘stuff Republicans don\u2019t like.’ It\u2019s an actual word with a fairly specific meaning, involving public ownership of the means of production. And it in no way reflects the Obama era.”<\/p>\n And I doubt that sending dictionaries with the word underlined to the House and Senate GOP would accomplish much.
