It was &#8220;Swords and Dragons Night&#8221; &#8212; <em>Game of Thrones Night<\/em> with the serial numbers filed inexpertly off &#8212; and they were playing the Bowie Baysox and Nationals first baseman Ryan Zimmerman was making a rehab start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"http:\/\/www.allyngibson.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/20190622_181208-1200x675.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-32043\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The game ended around sunset and, with the sky still somewhat light, the Senators had post-game fireworks.  The Senators lost, 5-2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Afterward, I walked across the Walnut Street Bridge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"http:\/\/www.allyngibson.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/20190622_212241-1200x675.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-32041\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The river was loud as it rushed beneath the pedestrian bridge.  Overhead, a drone flew across the river, hovered, then turned toward City Island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"http:\/\/www.allyngibson.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/20190622_212641-1200x675.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-32040\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I sat across the Susquehanna from the ballpark for a few minutes.  Twilight faded, and the sky was dark by the time I returned to the Beetle on City Island and headed home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It the kind of day early summer should be.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I was in Harrisburg for a Senators baseball game.
