It’s just as well I didn’t go to the York Revolution’s Spaceballs<\/em> night, as it rained most of the day. As I write this, it’s drizzling now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During a break in the rain — or what I thought<\/em> was a break in the rain — I drove over to York’s Mt. Rose Cemetery to walk around; the hill, which looks deceptively gentle from the base, provides a challenging workout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Given how overcast it was, I thought I might be able to make out where the York Revolution stadium is if the lights were on. You can see the dome of the courthouse in the break in the pines at the left, and I think the stadium would be kinda behind those pines, but I couldn’t make out any stadium lights. It’s over there, but there’s too much in the way for it to be seen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I went around the mausoleum, then hiked along the roads behind it until the brought me around to the area where baseball pitcher Ken Raffensberger<\/a> is buried.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Except for some geese, I had the cemetery to myself this Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
