The winter solstice.  &#8220;Halfway out of the dark.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It snowed furiously all day yesterday, and this morning everything was icy and frozen.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"540\" src=\"http:\/\/www.allyngibson.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/IMG_20241221_083452425-1200x540.jpg\" alt=\"Snow covering everything in my apartment complex\" class=\"wp-image-34296\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>I like seeing the snow on the hills over Red Lion and Windsor way, shining white in the sun.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"540\" src=\"http:\/\/www.allyngibson.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/IMG_20241221_124025470-1200x540.jpg\" alt=\"Snow on the hill near the Windsor fire watch tower\" class=\"wp-image-34297\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>I really should have gone Thursday night to see the Christmas trees at Lancaster&#8217;s ballpark. Last night was out&#8211;the aforementioned snow&#8211;and tonight and tomorrow are going to be <i>bleak<\/i>.  Not to mention, Mt. Pisgah Road might be a little icy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-default\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>In other news, there&#8217;s a trailer for next summer&#8217;s <i>Superman<\/i> film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Superman | Official Teaser Trailer\" width=\"750\" height=\"422\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/uhUht6vAsMY?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Looks enjoyable!
