The Geneva Conventions have never been so violated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-fullwidth is-style-scotch-tape-left\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"540\" src=\"http:\/\/www.allyngibson.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/IMG_20250507_082928542-1200x540.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-34468\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Quite honestly, if I didn&#8217;t have critical publishing deadlines today, I would have given serious consideration to calling out sick and going to today&#8217;s Harrisburg Senators game.  (It&#8217;s an 11 o&#8217;clock day game.  An &#8220;Education Day.&#8221;)  Or maybe go to DC on a whim.  It&#8217;s not hot.  The air has a fresh feeling after the recent rain.
