As part of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/p\/Lurch-Fest-61559539328327\/\">Lurch Fest<\/a>, a festival in Philippi, West Virginia in honor of <em>The Addams Family<\/em>&#8216;s Ted Cassidy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While I am most likely the <em>only<\/em> graduate of Philip Barbour to have ever visited the grave of the school&#8217;s namesake &#8212; former Speaker and the House and Justice of the Supreme Court Philip Pendleton Barbour &#8212; I will not be attending the Philip Barbour Class of &#8217;90 Reunion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But maybe I&#8217;ll watch <em>Grosse Pointe Blank<\/em> that night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"815\" height=\"671\" src=\"http:\/\/www.allyngibson.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/20170928_122632001.jpg\" alt=\"Allyn with the monument of Philip Pendleton Barbour, September 2017\" class=\"wp-image-31617\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Allyn with the monument of Philip Pendleton Barbour at Congressional Cemetery, Washington, DC, September 2017<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>According to a Facebook post, Philip Barbour High School is having a 35th-anniversary reunion for the Class of 1990.
