I think the Brothers Hildebrandt Tolkien calendars of the late 1970s, which I know my father had, instilled in me a love for uncial fonts that had lasted to this day.<\/p>\n

Even now, I have several uncial and insular-style fonts installed on my computer. I’ve had more, but that was in my Windows days, when I maxed out the number of fonts my system could handle, and I’ve been more restrained in these Linux times.<\/p>\n

Right now I have only American Uncial (this TTF file has migrated since my Windowx XP machine) and Dalelands Uncial<\/a> for uncial fonts, and Kells<\/a> and Meath<\/a> for insular fonts.<\/p>\n
