Oh, yes, indeed.  Who doesn&#8217;t want to wear some fine Bob Larkin artwork on a shirt. Lawrence&#8217;s <em>Mudd&#8217;s Angels<\/em>.  Harry Mudd and three scantily clad women, the starship <em>Enterprise<\/em> overhead.  It&#8217;s a fantastic cover&#8230; but it makes a very strange shirt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;m fascinated by the bootleg merchandise &#8212; and that&#8217;s what this is, CBS didn&#8217;t authorize this &#8212; that uses artwork from licensed tie-ins.  I remember one shirt that used the cover to the <em>Star Trek<\/em> anthology, <em>Seven Deadly Sins<\/em>, which focused on the villain races of the <em>Star Trek<\/em> universe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wild and weird.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then, there&#8217;s this Washington Nationals\/<em>Peanuts<\/em> hoodie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped wp-block-gallery-1 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"576\" height=\"859\" data-id=\"34585\" src=\"http:\/\/www.allyngibson.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Screenshot_20250810-141937.jpg\" alt=\"A light gray Washington Nationals hoodie with Charlie Brown and Snoopy\" class=\"wp-image-34585\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>You crazy sons of bitches.  I <em>like<\/em> this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I feel like I&#8217;d wear this if were twenty years younger.  I like the design with the baseball-themed comic strips, and the light gray color works.  It feels better conceptualized than <a href=\"http:\/\/www.allyngibson.com\/?p=34497\">the <em>Peanuts<\/em> baseball jerseys I usually see<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Could I <em>use<\/em> a hoodie?  Yeah, I could.  Hoodies kinda became my go-to casual garment after COVID, and even on in-office days it wasn&#8217;t unusual to find me in my office wearing a hoodie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No.  No.  I&#8217;m not doing it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not doing it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But damn, I am <em>tempted<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Oh, Facebook ads.
