Unfortunately, Kelsey Grammer’s second act blows chunks.<\/p>\n
FOX debuted tonight Kelsey Grammer Presents: The Sketch Show<\/i>. Half an hour of unknown actors engaged in short–thirty second to three minutes long–comedic vignettes.<\/p>\n
And it was incredibly unfunny.<\/p>\n
The vignettes were punchlines, not jokes. Denouement, no set-up.<\/p>\n
I like Kelsey Grammer as much as the next person. He’s a fantastic actor, and were it not for Laura Linney not wanting to do network television we would very probably have Grammer today gracing our televisions once more as Dr. Frasier Crane. But I pray to the television gods that The Sketch Show<\/i> crashes and burns.<\/p>\n
