She wanted to know how much snow I had on the ground.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;None,&#8221; I said.  It had been sixty degrees a day or two before.  &#8220;But if I&#8217;m remembering correctly, it looks like there&#8217;s a chance of snow early next week.  Monday or Tuesday.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Today is Sunday.  That counts as, from Thursday&#8217;s perspective, &#8220;early next week,&#8221; does it not?  Because, when I crawled out of bed this morning, it was snowing.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.allyngibson.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/20251130_084934-1200x540.jpg\" alt=\"Snow falling on the cars in the parking lot outside of my apartment\" class=\"aligncenter size-fullwidth wp-image-34919\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I opened the door.  The air felt <i>raw<\/i>.
