It was snowing lightly.  And the world had gone <i>pink<\/i>.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"720\" src=\"http:\/\/www.allyngibson.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/IMG_20260118_171006437.jpg\" alt=\"The view from my front door -- the sky is pink, the snow on the ground is pink, everything is pink!\" class=\"wp-image-35124\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>My phone was close at hand, but my shoes were not.
