But it&#8217;s neither urgent nor important, so it fell by the wayside.<\/p>\n<p>This post features an image full of the digit 3&#8230; and somewhere in that field is a 5!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"718\" height=\"706\" src=\"http:\/\/www.allyngibson.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Vivaldi_20260412_111218.jpg\" alt=\"As described, a screenshot of a Twitter post, with a giant field of white 3s on a black background, and somewhere there&#039;s a 5. It feels a little weird to look at, because the 3s are so close together the brain has trouble processing them.\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-35338\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Apparently, it is &#8220;absolutely impossible&#8221; to find the 5 within 20 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>I found it in less than 3.<\/p>\n<p>The trick is to defocus your eyes, and then you should see it right away.  The 3s stop playing weird tricks in the brain, and the 5 stands out clear.<\/p>\n<p>In the annals of the absolutely impossible, this was utterly probable.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I saw this on Twitter a few days ago and meant to write about it then.
