An unexpected thunderstorm rolled through shortly after 5 o’clock. It was welcome, because the heat has been utterly heinous the last two days, and we could use the rain.<\/p>\n

I went outside and, like Andy Dufresne in Shawshank<\/i>, I spread my arms to the sky and let the rain pour over me until I was soaked to the bone. Not even a roll of thunder than lasted a solid minute would keep me from nature.<\/p>\n

It’s cooled off a great deal, and tomorrow should be heinous again. But for now, the storm brought an impressive sunset with a sky on fire.<\/p>\n
