The best episode of Boston Legal<\/i> yet.<\/p>\n
Tonight took Alan Shore to Texas to take up a death penalty case. As the episode unfolded, as Shore made his appeal to the Texas High Court, as the inmate headed to receive the lethal injection, the laissez-faire<\/i> attitude of previous episodes all but evaporated. This was a serious episode, one that wouldn’t have been out of place on the deathly serious The Practice<\/i>. Alan Shore can be a frivolous character, but this was one time when he wasn’t–the first time, really, since the Patrick Dempsey trial last season on The Practice<\/i>.<\/p>\n
I’m not sure when the next episode will air. Next Sunday ABC will debut Grey’s Anatomy<\/i> in the 10 o’clock timeslot. Still, this was a fantastic outing for Boston Legal<\/i>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
