The family got together for Easter. I would have liked to sleep in, but breakfast was scheduled for 8:30 sharp. As it was my brother still<\/i> had to awaken me.<\/p>\n
After breakfast–waffles and scrapple–I went back to bed. The family went off to church. The tradition the last few years has been to dress up for pictures as though I’d gone to church with the rest of the family. I slept for another hour, then woke, listened to NPR’s “Wait, Wait, Don’t Tell Me,” and got dressed in shirt, tie, and sport coat. Only when tying the tie did I realize I hadn’t shaved since Wednesday and my face with the living visage of a scruffy looking nerf herder.
