These are the saddest of possible words:
\n“Tinker to Evers to Chance.”
\nTrio of bear cubs, and fleeter than birds,
\nTinker and Evers and Chance.
\nRuthlessly pricking our gonfalon bubble,
\nMaking a Giant hit into a double—
\nWords that are heavy with nothing but trouble:
