Jack Schofield at the Guardian Unlimited<\/a> wrote about the Top 20 Geek Novels<\/a>. I’m not at all clear on the methodology of determining the Top 20 Geek Novels–seems to be a sort-of survey based on the comments on a blog entry elsewhere–so this list is more than a little meaningless. However, it is an interesting list of books, and I’ve bolded the ones that I’ve read:<\/p>\n

    Consider Phlebas<\/i> I’ve always wanted to read, and for whatever reason haven’t. Mainly it’s due to the difficulty in finding Banks’ work in bookstores.<\/p>\n

    Stranger in a Strange Land<\/i>. Didn’t like it. Really<\/i> didn’t like it.<\/p>\n

    Trouble with Lichen<\/i>. Never heard of it.<\/p>\n
