A year in review?  Perhaps.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>I saw this on David Henderson&#8217;s LiveJournal, questions aimed at summarizing 2004.  Yesterday going through e-mail I came across a call for submissions to a Sherlock Holmes collection of scholarly ponderings, satire, and pasticherie.  I couldn&#8217;t deny it.  Oh, am I tired.  I went to see Hitchhiker&#8217;s Guide to the Galaxy tonight.  &#8220;Excellent&#8221; is a part of my usual vocabulary.  The Raleigh newspaper has a weekly column on Fridays entitled &#8220;Beer Here,&#8221; a look at the beer scene written by Julie Johnson Bradford, editor of All About Beer magazine.  Last night I wanted to watch a movie.  According to the morning&#8217;s newspaper the gas station in the shopping center where I work shuttered its doors yesterday&#8211;their pumps had run dry.  I don&#8217;t know which makes me feel better for the future.  Mad scientist mode.  My voting precinct uses paper ballots.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>There&#8217;s a rhythm to that.
