Color me happy. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Among the other letters published in today&#8217;s paper I do like this quote from Randy Balot:  &#8220;We are fighting a two-front war. In the Middle East are the Islamofascists. In the United States are the liberal anti-Bush fascists. It&#8217;s hard to determine which is a greater danger to national security.&#8221;  I wonder if Mr. Balot realizes that a &#8220;liberal&#8230; fascist&#8221; is a contradiction in terms; <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Fascism\">fascism<\/a> defined is &#8220;a system of government that exercises a dictatorship of the extreme right, typically through the merging of state and business leadership, together with belligerent nationalism,&#8221; which describes, in very broad terms, the policies of the current Administration.<\/p>\n<p>Now that I&#8217;ve published my angry letter I wonder when the black vans will take up residence outside my house. \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today, Christmas Day, the Raleigh News &#038; Observer published my letter on the President&#8217;s illegal domestic spying program.
