The phone rang at work this morning. I was in the midst of rearranging the PlayStation 2 games, put a stack of games on the top of a gondola, and answered the phone.<\/p>\n
I rattled off the current phone spiel.<\/p>\n
“Is there anyone there that plays <\/i>Star Wars games?”<\/i> the guy on the other end of the phone asks.<\/p>\n
This sort of question isn’t uncommon–people will call the store thinking I can dispense immediate help in beating various and sundry games. Thinking this was one of those calls I said, “I’ve played more than a few.”<\/p>\n
“Good,”<\/i> the guy said. “You know those robots with the long noses in <\/i>Phantom Menace, the battle droids? What are they called?”<\/i><\/p>\n
“The Battle Droids?”<\/p>\n
“Yeah, the ones with the lasers and stuff.”<\/i><\/p>\n
“They’re called ‘Battle Droids.’ You had it right the first time.”<\/p>\n
“Oh, good,”<\/i> he said. And he hung up.<\/p>\n
