I’ve read the Critias<\/i>, Plato’s incomplete account of Atlantis.<\/p>\n
I’ve read the Apology<\/i>, his account of Socrates’ trial. For good measure, I’ve also read Xenophon’s Apology<\/i>, he take on the same event.<\/p>\n
I’ve read a little bit of the Timaeus<\/i>, where Plato lays out his understanding of the structure of the human body and the structure the universe, but I’ve found it slow-going because Plato’s concepts are beyond alien to modern conceptions of biology and astronomy.<\/p>\n
Still to read. Republic<\/i>, the rest of Timaeus<\/i>, and the Phaedo<\/i>, in which Plato describes Socrates’ final days and the nature of the immortal soul.<\/p>\n
