I feel as though I live in an accursed moor. Fog lays across the land like a festering malignancy. Spectral hounds bay at the moon. Death stalks the night.<\/p>\n
I am tired of fog. Tired, tired, tired<\/i> of fog.<\/p>\n
I get up in the morning, and it’s foggy. I drive to work, and it’s foggy. I work all day, and the world is murky. I drive home at night, and it’s still<\/i> foggy.<\/p>\n
It’s bad when you can’t see the building where you work from a block away. It’s bad when you can’t see the neon-lighted Mr. Boh atop Natty Boh Towers. It’s bad when you stand a block away from a skyscraper, and despite knowing that it’s there in the mist there’s not a sign of it at all.<\/p>\n
In the fall I thought I’d up and moved to Seattle. Now I think I’m in the Scottish Highlands.<\/p>\n
