Forty years ago this month the Beatles went into Twickenham Studios to film themselves as they began work on the album that was to follow up “The White Album.” Their intention was to practice a group of songs for a live performance. While that worked out, sort of, the fractures in the group broke open during the production of this album.
I’ve discovered a podcast that’s taking a look at the Let It Be recording sessions on a day-by-day basis.
If you’re interested, give Rock And Roll Science a shot.
There’s four episodes thus far. Each is fairly short. Mainly commentary, with snippets of songs and recorded speech.
Neat stuff, for Beatles fans. 🙂
