Every day brings the One Ring closer to Mordor. Every day brings The Lord of the Rings: War in the North closer to me.
Here’s the launch trailer:
Holy fuck! There’s a dragon! And it’s breathing fire!
This is me. Being excited.
Breathing fire!
To get excited — because the game comes out on Tuesday — I’ve spent this snowy day replaying some levels from the Return of the King game from 2003.
I haven’t replayed the Black Gate level. That’s intense. I hate fighting the Easterlings; they’re tough, speedy bastards.
Tuesday! Tuesday! Coming out on Tuesday!
To the Black Gate!

Laura’s decided not only that she needs this game but that I need it too. Two copies on order.
I’m positively giddy about this game, if this post and this other post didn’t already attest to that. The thing is, I didn’t think I could feel this giddy about an upcoming game again. I was burned out on games when I left EB (and I left EB feeling burned and embittered), so this giddiness on my part is surprisingly unexpected.

I have the Collector’s Edition on order, and Tuesday can’t come soon enough. 🙂
