On a Remington Steele Revival

Pierce Brosnan, in a recent interview, had this to say about his breakout role as private detective/con man Remington Steele:

Brosnan hopes to bring Remington back in a big-screen version of the series. “The show is out on DVD now and so we have started negotiations on making a movie out of it,” he says. “I think there’s an audience there. There’s a sentimental memory and fondness for it.”

Can I just say, “Ooh! Ooh! Yeah! Yeah!” Yes, that’s the incoherent ravings of a fan. I would love to see a Remington Steele revival. Do I have any idea what it would be like, twenty years after the series ended? None, none at all. But if Brosnan’s game, if they could lure back Stephanie Zimbalist as Laura Holt, I’d be all over that.

  1. Yes. All Remington Steele fans would like forward to a revival with the original characters Pierce Brosnan and Stephanie Zimbalist on board. Otherwise this a desire, that all fans will be taking to their graves and this would be their most heartbreaking unfulfilled desire . So far all their diehard fans, Pierce and Stephanie should come back for a few episodes. That would be a dream come true for us fans of two of the most iconic actors and characters.
