I’ve decided to attend an upcoming Star Trek convention–the Farpoint Convention in Baltimore the weekend of February 17th through the 19th, 2006.
Same hotel, almost the same people as the Shore Leave convention I attend every July, but I’ve never been to the February convention, I have a week of Christmas comp time to take, and why not spend it in the comfy confines of Baltimore?
And Harve Bennett, the man who saved Star Trek in the early 80s, will be attending. That’s awesome, and I, for one, am looking forward to that.

Lucky you–have fun!
I’m sure I will. 🙂
At Shore Leave last year both Terri and Keith said I should go, and then a few months later Bob Greenberger said I should go, and since I’ve got vacation time–four weeks next year– and the need to take it, why not go to a convention?
Hopefully this year there’ll be no freak blizzards. 😆
