On Dictionary Definitions

Many years from now, when I am added to the dictionary…

Allyn —
[noun]:

A master of storytelling

‘How will you be defined in the dictionary?’ at QuizGalaxy.com

I can picture the conversations now.

“That Harlan Ellison, he was a real allyn, you know? Those short stories of his? Damn, they took my breath away. Only an allyn could do that.”

“He may have been an allyn when it came to his own work, but never ask him to edit an anthology. Why, the Big Crunch will happen before we’ll ever see The Last Dangerous Visions.”

“Too true, too true.”
