On a Lack of Priorities

I couldn't get out of bed this morning. The alarm went off, I hit the snooze button. Again, and again, and again.

Finally, I had to get out of bed. And in some weird daze I fixed coffee, booted up the computer, and turned on Morning Edition for my early news fix.

I need to hop in the shower.

Instead, I've spent fifteen minutes fiddling with my webpage's stylesheet. I like what I've come up with — it fits me. There's still more than a little garbage in it — I can sort that out later. But that's just it — I should be shaving, getting ready for work. And yet, it's a stylesheet that holds my attention.

I can't prioritize in the early mornings.

Need more coffee.
