We All Shine On

Take a moment, people, and think of John Lennon. Put in a Beatles album or one of his solo albums. Watch A Hard Day’s Night.

What would he think of these troubled times?

We salute you, Private Gripweed.

I can’t believe I almost forgot.

  1. I remember getting up for school one morning and my dad telling me that John Lennon had been shot. That year we lived in a small town, Summerside, PEI, and in my first class of the day, since the teacher hadn’t shown up yet, I wrote “John Lennon R.I.P.” on the chalkboard. People asked me who John Lennon was. This was in grade 12, not elementary school. It was one of many moments of culture shock that year.
