On Tuesday

A colleague asked me at work today how things were going for me.

I sighed. “I can’t believe it’s only Tuesday,” I said in reply.

Summed it up, really.

The week’s not as bad as that. Really, it’s not. I’ve just had a lot on my plate this week, and I’ll have a lot on my plate for the rest of the week.

Which reminds me. I need to write up my list of things-to-do for tomorrow.

Like that dozen sales articles I need to write; there are other things more urgent than these, so I keep pushing them off. Worst case scenario, I knock them out Friday afternoon. Ideally, I’d like to get them done tomorrow. Ideally.

*sigh*

“Death by paper” is a phrase a friend of my coined recently in describing her life. Can’t say as I disagree.

At least it’s not death by papercuts. Because that would be painful, besides leaving a sticky mess behind. 😉
