More on LEGO Doctor Who!

I want LEGO Doctor Who. I want it, want it, want it!

I really, really want it!

Fortunately, lots of other people want it, too.

And someone put the question to none other than executive producer Julie Gardner.

Why no LEGO Doctor Who?

The answer?

Doctor Who needs to be bigger in the US to merit a LEGO roll-out.”

So, you hear that, American viewers? If you’re not watching Doctor Who, you’re keeping me from getting LEGO Doctor Who!

What I suggested fifteen months ago still applies — the LEGO Corporation (or TwoMorrows Publishing, with their BrickJournal magazine) could publish a booklet of “official” Doctor Who instructions, without having to commission a whole line of Doctor Who LEGO sets.

Perhaps there would be official Doctor minifigs, that would be nice.

And the great thing about LEGO is that there are all sorts of different environments pre-existing for the Doctor and his LEGO TARDIS to visit. From Hogwarts to Indiana Jones, from pirates to castles and everything in-between, LEGO is screaming for Doctor Who.

LEGO Doctor Who! 🙂
