On the Kittens and my Grandmother

Saturday my grandmother couldn’t stand the kittens. They ran around too much. They invaded her space. They stared at her. They made her itch. They made her sneeze.

Yesterday she enjoyed watching them run around the dining room. Seeing Percival nap on the dining room floor, plopped over on his belly, made her laugh.

Today Galahad licked her toes. She likes the kittens. She talks to the kittens. They’re now her friends. But she still won’t touch them.

We’re making progress.
