On Rain

It rained today.

Forecasts called for an inch, give or take. In Fells Point, it seemed that we got far more than that. Rain beat up against the windows of the building, a hard driving rain that made the world feel dismal. Forecasts are calling for rain the next few days. It seems as though rain has been a constant–five days out of seven rain falls from the sky. The ground is soppy, soggy, muddy. A few days of sunshine wouldn’t be unwelcome.

Rain.

  1. I rather like the rain. For some reason everyone seems more subdued when it’s raining. Calm. :tired: The day drags on longer when you’re sitting through Algebra, but it’s a little quieter.
