On Upgrading

And now, today, we’re on WordPress 2.1.

I’m not sure why the upgrade failed yesterday, though I’ve left a couple of plug-ins turned off just to be safe.

Unfortunately, the links in the sidebar have been replaced with an SQL error message. I’m going to work on getting that sorted forthwith.

On the backend there are some changes. Nothing major — different look on some things, a spell-checker, etc. It’s the same, but different!

So except for the links, we’re on the latest and greatest version of WordPress. w00t! 🙂

ETA: Well, fuck, that’s an interesting failure mode — send a bunch of recent posts at random out the RSS feed. Sorry about that people on the LJ community.

The smileys work, and they don’t work. Lovely.
