That sound you hear is the sound of me flailing my head against the wall.
Don’t worry. I do this when I get annoyed.
I don’t think of myself as being easily annoyed. I roll with the punches fairly well.
But sometimes…
The reasons are trivial, and I won’t bore you with them.
Sometimes people are dense. Sometimes you read something that makes you question the sanity and judgment of writers, editors, and newspapers everywhere. Sometimes it’s just the rain, falling every day, turning the world you know into a tropical rain forest.
Sometimes it’s none of these.
That said, I got a nice piece of writing done this morning, so I’m not completely annoyed. Just mildly enough that flailing away seems like the best way to dull the pain.
