The Shore Leave convention has posted the weekend’s schedule.
As previously noted, I will be hosting a Doctor Who panel celebrating the show’s fortieth anniversary, Sunday at 5 o’clock. Yesterday’s news that BBCi will be web-broadcasting a six-episode animated special starring Richard E. Grant as the Ninth Doctor gives me something new and interesting to talk about.
Also, Saturday morning at 10, there will be a panel called “How I Broke into Star Trek Without Really Trying” about entering the world of Star Trek fiction. Panelists include Heather Jarman (author of DS9: This Gray Spirit), Terri Osborne (author of short stories in DS9: Prophecy and Change and New Frontier: No Limits), and myself.
