On Weekend Plans

I’ll be at the Baltimore Comic-Con this weekend. Work was offering free passes, so how could I resist? 🙂

I’ve never been to a comic convention before, so this will be a new experience. Two things strike me as odd. First, programming seems really light. And second, it’s over at six?!? Sorry, I’m used to cons where I’m there when the bar closes in the wee hours of the morning, which is the point when things are just getting warmed up.

But hey, you know what? Different standards completely. 😆

Note to self. Take business cards. Potential networking opportunities. So noted.

This is gonna be cool.

Pick up the subway, take it into downtown, and hoof it five blocks.

This will be good practice, actually. When the temperatures fall in the next month, I’m planning on trying the Baltimore public transit system to get to work. The subway terminus is near the house, and the light rail runs right past the office building. I’m thinking — take the subway downtown, and head back out on the light rail to Timonium. I like this idea. It’s environmentally friendly. Think globally, act locally, all that.

I digress.

Baltimore Comic-Con. This weekend. Rock and roll.
