On Thursday

I look on my friends' list, and what do I see? Thursday wailing and bemoaning.

It's Thursday?!? How do this happen? Surely it's only Wednesday….

But no, it's not. I check the calendar, it really is Thursday.

Sigh.

Twelve hour shift on Monday. Twelve hour shift on Tuesday. And a seventeen hour shift Wednesday, ending at two-thirty Thursday morning.

That's how it's Thursday.

Inventory prep. Inventory itself. An assistant manager out because his wife is in the hospital. A third-key out because her boyfriend gave her the plague. So, who has to work?

I rolled out of bed at eleven-thirty. My grandmother was yelling, and I'm not sure why.

The cats, at least, seem normal.

I may eat some lunch, then crawl back into bed.
